A multi-million dollar factory has been put into operation near N Brevard to produce new medical and industrial X-ray film based on Croner polyester filmC. , by E. I.
DuPont De in Moore the company, Inc.
The factory is described as the first commercial unit specifically designed to produce polyester medical X-rays.
It will double the Cronar produced by the company, a tough, clear film widely used in graphic art, engineering reproduction, drawing, photography and film.
This highly automated factory provides work for about 500 people.
