fold-up ‘house’ fits in your pocket, sets up instantly - metalized polyester
Future tents designed by designer Martin Azua can be placed in your pocket.
His concept of "basic house" is single. person pop-
A shelter made of metal polyester fabric, which is set in itself but does not contain a rigid support structure.
The basic house will expand and use solar energy and body heat to keep it in shape.
This is also reversible, with one side of the fabric keeping the internal heat in the winter, or keeping the sun warm in the summer.
When set up, it is similar to a large gold cube with a circular opening.
As part of the exhibits of the Museum of Modern Art and the Vitra Design Museum, the basic house has not yet been purchased, but it could eventually be used to provide temporary housing for those displaced by natural disasters and other emergencies. (Source)
