Chennai has adjusted its proposal for a new installation

From the 5,000 proposed in the earlier plan, only 2,000 toilets are now installed in crowded areas in all 15 districts.
According to a survey by civic groups, most attractions have been identified with a focus on commercial areas where toilet facilities are lacking.
