One side of the polyester film is coated with Aluminum Oxide in a special metallizer where aluminum metal is thermally evaporated and reacted with oxygen under high vacuum conditions to achieve its oxide.The AlOx, when deposited on the clean film surface, offers a very high barrier against oxygen and water vapor transmission simultaneously giving excellent clarity and transparency to the film.
It has good thermal stability, high temperature resistance, high strength and stable chemical properties. Compared with co-extruded film, coated film and common metallized film, transparent AlOx metallized film is more environmental friendly, and has better barrier performance and printing performance.
